As you all know, I LOVE Easter and love bunnies. I had the house covered with Easter decorations. Easter morning before going to the in laws for dinner, we gave Jonah his first Easter basket. It has trains [ of course] on it. He walked right up to it and looked at Mike and I and just smiled from ear to ear. Jonah just sat right down and pulled out each item and then stuck his head in the basket. We both just laughed at his reaction on the empty basket. Then he went to look at the other basket from grandma Carole. We both could tell he was so excited about it all that he was just yelling and laughing. Jonah is constantly babbling on and on. He kept on saying " I got it" while pulling the things out of the basket. He also loved the bubble toy we got him. Jonah loves his bubbles and says bubbles over and over when it's time for a bubble bath. After looking at the baskets we left and picked up grandma and grandpa Krohn and went to dinner. Auntie Kris made most of the dinner and out did herself like usual. Even though she is still healing from her foot surgery. She wanted to do most of it and she did a wonderful job. After supper we had birthday cake for auntie Lizzy. The best part was that we had leftover ham for 4 days straight. We found out that Jonah likes ham just as much as his dad. It was a great day and the weather was beautiful.
